Dark Gold Roast - Colombia

Gold is a legacy coffee by Lava Mountain, a former café in Metro-Detroit, which made a name for itself on its Colombian coffees. Tasting notes are chocolate, caramel, & nuts with a mild, sweet citrus as a medium roast. As a dark roast, surprisingly this bean tends to maintain many of its characteristics with an added boldness. Likely a coffee your grandfather would've enjoyed.

This bean is grown in the heart of Colombia, at high altitudes, within the Andean mountain chain “Cordillera de los Andes.” The beans are grown in soil enriched by volcanic ash to produce naturally sweet coffee flavors.

100% Arabica. Roasted Dark, but not too dark. Also available in Light or Medium Roast varieties.
